Congratulations and thanks to all who organized and participated in the 3rd Annual Bible Center School Step into Summer 5K Run/Walk. Special thanks to Jane Jackson and her wonderful crew of volunteers who solicited sponsorships, developed enthusiasm among the students, and recruited a ton of runners and walkers. What a great day it was… rain and all.
After expenses the event netted over $11,000 to be used for technology purchases for the school. These funds, combined with contributions for the Annual Fund and sponsorships from our Business Partners will enable us to make a significant technology purchase this summer including:
- 14 computers
- 19 large flat screen displays
- 8 DVD players
- 2 classroom responders
- 3 document cameras
- 1 interactive white board
